Our mission at Northern Virginia Reverse Mortgage Group is very simple. Our mission statement does state; we desire and thus use our resources efficiently to help seniors in the Virginia area who qualify, to access reverse mortgage information and loans with minimum stress, time and effort. Our scope of activities includes helping seniors to locate credible reverse mortgage lenders and to guide them through the whole process. To facilitate the spread of reverse mortgage information we organize seminars regularly to create awareness. We also conduct personal reverse mortgage counseling to give personalized assistance to seniors who are considering reverse mortgage loans in Virginia. Our mission statement and our vision to take reverse mortgage loans to every senior who qualifies in Virginia are constantly before us. For this reason we are very enthusiastic and proactive in what we do. We are always seeking new ways to make it easier to get reverse mortgage information and get in contact with reverse mortgage lenders. The Northern Virginia Reverse Mortgage Group was formed about 6 years ago by 5 people. John Fultam was a regular mortgage practitioner who then decided to take a reverse mortgage loan on one of his homes about 8 years ago at the age of 64. Seeing the benefits he told a friend and colleague and after he also had taken the loan they both decided to form Northern Virginia Reverse Mortgage Group dedicated to spreading the benefits to other seniors in Virginia. They then added three younger mortgage professionals who shared the same passion. The group thus consist of John Fultam (72), Henry Whitehall (69), David Knowles(59), Jefferson Hilton (55) and the only female member of the group, Mary Fultam (65). Mary is the wife of John and shares the passion of her husband in helping other seniors.
